Till-Avanti
Early 50cc racer based on a Victoria Avanti moped imported from west Germany.
Built by Ir. Rainer Till in 1962.
It featured a remarkable 5 speed gearbox in te little Victoria engine.
After a few years the Victoria engine was switched for a new engine basing on Simson casings.
This engine had a 7 speed gearbox working on the same gear system.
Also it had the first electronic ignition in the GDR.
When Till ended his race-carreer he gave the racebike away to the Augustusburg motorcycle museum.
The bike is still in the museum depot ,a rare survivor of the earliest 50cc races in the GDR.
The early Victoria engine also still exists.
